Brazilian football legend Pele is recovering well after undergoing surgery recently. He was admit to the ICU

The 80-year-old former Brazilian footballer underwent surgery to remove a colon tumor in early September. He was monitor the symptoms at the ICU.

Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo has confirmed Pele will need to stay at the hospital for a while. The symptoms were closely monitored in the ICU. Although their condition improved accordingly. 

“He is recovering well and there is no cause for concern,” said Pele’s daughter Keli Nascimento.

The hospital issued a statement confirming this: “After the patient’s condition has improved. Currently, his condition has improved respectively in the heart, blood vessels and respiratory system.”
